What is cashback and how does it work?
Customers pay the full amount of the purchased goods or services when they make a purchase and later get money back (the cashback).
The cashback is calculated as a percentage and you determine how much cashback you as a partner shop give the customer when you fill out your partner application . As soon as the customer has placed the order/purchase correctly, the cashback credit will appear on their digital customer account.
After completing the transaction, we pay the customer the cashback of the placed and confirmed order to his bank or postal account. You will then receive the invoice from us for the contractually defined cashback and the program partner fee.
1. Customer makes a purchase
The customer orders goods, obtains a service, buys or consumes at your location. He pays the full amount of the purchased goods/services. The cashback is automatically calculated by the system from the purchase amount.
3. Payout
As soon as the customer's transaction is confirmed, we pay out the calculated cashback to their bank or postal account. This process takes place monthly. The customer now sees on his statement that he has received payment for his purchase from you.
2. Cashback recorded
After the purchase, the cashback credit will appear as “Pending” on the digital customer account. The cashback has not yet been paid out. You have access to the digital partner account and can check the transactions. This gives you control over cashback payouts.
4. Billing Summary
You can see an overview of customer transactions and monthly billing in your personal and digital partner account.
